Mee Rebus (literally means boiled noodles in English), is a Malay inspired noodle dish most popular in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. The yellow noodles are served with spicy, sweet curry-like gravy prepared with dried shrimps. Gravy extremely tasty!
Mee Rebus - yellow noodle topped with tau kwa, bean sprouts, dough fritter, half a hard boiled egg, sliced green chilies, potatoes, tomato, a slice of calamansi (or calamondin, or sometimes spelled as kalamansi) and a semi thick curry gravy with a hint of shrimp broth.
